Cyrielle Tamby

Raised in Paris and now based in Berlin, Cyrielle Tamby has roots tracing back to India, Vietnam, and Congo. This diverse heritage enriches her work as a writer, project manager, researcher, dancer, and chair of the NGO Mince e.V., which is pivotal for black dance events in Germany. Holding an MA in Sociocultural Studies (Europa-Universität Viadrina/UC Berkeley), Cyrielle's academic research explores street dance cultures in shaping Afro-diasporic identities. Her creative writing process intricately blends French, German, and English, and celebrates the vulnerabilities she couldn't articulate in her childhood. Since May 2023, she has been dedicated to her new fiction project.
